Handle: Jerry SworskeInstrument: Drums Where you from, boy?: Milwaukee, WI Influences: Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Motown, Funk, Texas Blues, Boogie, Stevie Ray Vaughan Gear:
- 1968 Ludwig "tubs"
- Zildjian cymbals
- Remo heads
- Music Experience: He had his first drum set at 15 -- a 3-piece set of Slingerlands. He started playing with groups in the early '60's like the Noblemen, Denny and the Darrnells, and Jr. and the Classics. "We played 6 nights a week, practiced twice a week, and on the 7th night, we went all over town to hear the other groups so we could stay on top of things."
When Jerry started learning the in's and out's of drumming, there wasn't much in the way of rock 'n' roll, so he began working out with the best drummers around: "Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich. I spent hours learning their drum solos."
Then came Rock 'n' Roll. That was when he really learned to pound the skins.
Favorite Color: Red
Outside of Drumming?: He likes to work out three times a week. "I'm a homebody. Give me a sunny day, the back yard, some friends, and a beer, and I'm happy." He also likes long walks, working his part time job at the state fair, and doing his family tree.
Favorite Saying: Old dudes rock harder.
#1 Pet Peeve: Rude people

"G.V."is one of the most provocative lead vocalists inthe music industry today. His powerful voice and reminiscent of a young Greg Allman, or Freddie King. Perpare to be amazed

Robert Cray I always wanted to: Corny as it may sound... "be a singer in a rock n roll band." I'm living the dream. The cheers, and applause at the gigs give an extraordinary lift.
#1 Pet Peeve: People whose word is of no value. Got no use for 'em.
